BMW 2 Convertible

For dynamic and frugal diesel performance, the 220d is simply superb.  It’s as quick as the 220i petrol, but will return around 4.5 litres/100 km.  The new diesel engines employed by BMW are labelled the BMW EfficientDynamics range, and they feature a lightweight aluminium construction and one, two or three turbochargers with variable turbine geometry.  Boating the very latest CommonRail direct injection technology, optimum combustion to further reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions is guaranteed.

Models for the 2-series convertible include Sport, M Sport and Luxury.  The Luxury Line models boast plenty of sparkling chrome, nice 17-inch Y-Spoke alloys or 18-inch V-Spoke alloys, and chromed tailpipes.  Inside the Luxury 2-Series Convertible, there are numerous Dakota leather styles and colouring to make your interior space something very special. Aluminium or fine-wood trim finishes off the impeccable appearance.  Sport models still have elegant interiors, but do boast racier overtones.

The new BMW 2 Convertible models boast the very latest in LED headlight technology.  The L-shape tail-light looks striking in the dark – unmistakably BMW, and a real head-turner.  Another nice touch for design appeal is the optional contrast colour soft-top.  The electronically operated soft-top can be open and closed at speeds up to 50 km/h.  Chrome exhausts, gorgeous alloys and a low-slung exterior make this the perfect way for starting off the New Year.  Design lines have captured a low centre of gravity giving the 2 Convertible an athletic, compact stance.

Slip inside any of the BMW 2 Series Convertibles, and the intentions are made quite clear that the wrap around dash is exclusively for driver enjoyment.  Plenty of chrome trim provides a premium look and feel, while the optional sport seats ensure unsullied driving delights.  If you are into music in a big way, then the sound systems in any of the BMW 2 Convertibles are top notch.  The rear speakers are cleverly integrated into the side panelling.
