On the road, the comfortable ride (particularly over rougher city streets) blends nicely with the grippy chassis.  Cornering is well weighted and light, while the ability for a quick drive is accessed when you go hunting for few more revs from the engine via the slick six-speed manual gearbox.  Petrol fed, the 1.6-litre motor is willing and economical.  Packing 103 kW of engine power at 6300 rpm, the direct injection makes for good response.  Torque is strong in the mid-range, and you can expect a warm 6 litres/100 km for a combined running cycle of both urban and open road running.
