One of the instant delights that you notice about the new Jaguar F-Pace Petrol SUV is that it feels light on its feet and responsive.  The Jaguar F-Pace design incorporates a lightweight aluminium body that is both stiff and very strong.  Increased weight reduction that the aluminium shell offers blesses the SUV Jaguar with dynamic handling and superior efficiency.  The Jaguar F-Pace is among the lightest vehicles in its class with a near perfect 50:50 weight distribution front-to-rear.  This balance creates a light and agile ride marked with sporty performance.  With a suspension that uses double-wishbone front suspension, an Integral Link multi-link rear axle and coil springs and either fixed or adaptive dampers all-round, the new Jaguar F-Pace has excellent and predictable grip.

When it comes to driving conditions, the new Jaguar F-Pace Petrol models provide Jaguar’s own JaguarDrive Control system with Dynamic Mode for sportier driving, earlier up-shifts in Eco Mode to improve fuel efficiency, and Rain Ice Snow Mode for gentle progress in low grip environments.  AWD models are very capable off-road.

So what are the petrol engines in an F-Pace Petrol SUV Jaguar like?  The answer is smooth and swift.  Powered by the latest in supercharging technology, the 3.0-litre V6 has two tunings.  One is at 250 kW and 450 Nm and the other at 280 kW and 460 Nm maximum outputs.  The 250 kW Jaguar F-Pace Petrol SUV is found with R-Sport, Prestige and Portfolio trims.  The 280 kW Jaguar F-Pace Petrol SUV is in First Edition and S variants. Both F-Pace Petrol models can complete the 0-100 km/h dash in under six seconds.  Both are limited to a 250 km/h top speed.  Being linked to a quick shifting eight-speed automatic, the Jaguar F-Pace brings the best out of the supercharged power.

Extensive testing to the tune of 250,000 km has meant that reliability and stop/start cold/hot technology has been given a thoroughly good workover.
