Centred in the middle of the dash is a high definition 7-inch touch-screen that has the control of most major functions. Not only is this highly sophisticated, but it keeps an uncluttered, user-friendly appeal to the Jaguar XKR-S. The best in-car audio system, Bluetooth telephone system, satellite navigation and climate control are standard to the Jaguar XK-S. The Portable Audio Interface provides full-function control of an iPod or MP3 player via the Touch-screen. No doubt, one of the main assets that the Jaguar XKR-S embodies probably draws you to this very review. Stunning from any angle, the Jaguar XKR-S is a very beautiful car to look at. Top Gear gurus love it, and I would think any honest bloke would have to agree it’s a sweet design. Exterior colours are bold and beautiful: French Racing Blue, Polaris White, Italian Racing Red and Midnight Black compliment the car’s low profile design. And all colours are available with optional body graphics. The unique front design features twin nacelles, side intakes, and a carbon fibre splitter and lower spoiler. Horizontal slots in the leading edge of the bonnet reduce heat and under-bonnet lift. Extended side sills and a unique rear wing look superb. A carbon fibre inlay and distinctive rear apron with a carbon fibre rear diffuser balance any front and rear lift when driving extremely fast.

And extremely fast the Jaguar XKR-S is. Sitting on 20-inch Vulcan alloys, and boasting four exhausts, one quickly gets the impression that the XKR-S has the goods. The most powerful model in the Jaguar line-up, the XKR-S boasts an advanced supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine. With 404 kW and a maximum torque of a whopping 680 Nm, the XKR-S has a top speed of 300 km/h. Acceleration from 0–100 km/h is performed in a mere 4.4 seconds!
