Interior size is top notch, and it offers space right through to the third row at the back.  There’s no travelling second class for those in the third row.  Leg room is good and even the seat comfort remains well-honed for that long trip away.  If you have a large family of eight, this will be the ideal vehicle for you.  Designed to meet the demands of busy family life, the 2015 Kia Carnival has all the goodies and design to make it a pleasure for all occasions.  S and Si models have seating that is upholstered in a special stain-free cloth material that is perfect for young ones who might be a little more clumsy in holding onto a double scoop ice-cream.  Leather upholstery fits out Platinum models.  The driver in all Carnival models will have no excuse for not finding the perfect position for seeing the miles pass by.  Even the standard model comes equipped with a six-way adjustable driver’s seat.  The higher up the Kia Carnival model ranking, such things as ventilated front seats and eight-way adjustable memory seats are available.  All models boast a sliding and reclining second row seating arrangement, and all seats come with height adjustable headrests.

Cruise control is a standard feature on all Kia Carnival 3.3L Petrol versions.  This is a feature that truly makes the journey relaxed and safe for driver and occupants.  Plenty of power is on tap, however controlling this to work within the legal boundaries is best, particularly when carrying numerous passengers.  New Kia Carnival Platinum models get the Smart Cruise Control feature which keeps an eye on the distance of your vehicle to the one in front.  First and second rows have electric windows on all models.  A neat feature that is great for keeping the journey fun is the addition of conversation mirrors.  Conversation mirrors mean that if you’re in the second row and want to talk to someone in the third row, you can keep eye contact up without turning your head.  In each new Kia Carnival there are: three 12 Volt power outlets, three USB charging ports, a massive centre console with storage, coat hooks and a nice MP3 compatible CD player.  All models also boast speed dependent volume control for when listening to your favourite music tracks, and there are six speakers throughout the vehicle.  Bluetooth for phone and media stream is a standard feature.  All occupants on-board the comfy Kia Carnival 3.3L Petrol will also have excellent air ventilation throughout all the interior space.  SLi and Premium models come with a Tri-zone climate control air-conditioning system, perfect for keeping the pickier passengers happy whatever the weather.

Kia Carnival 3.3L Petrol models offer swift performance that can be enjoyed through a brand new 3.3L V6 DOHC CVVT engine.  Linked to a sweet six-speed automatic transmission, the engine lopes along the highway quietly and efficiently.  When power is needed, the transmission slips into the right lower gear for punchy acceleration and performance.  Maximum torque for the 3.3L is 336 Nm at 5200 rpm, while peak power is found at 206 kW at 6000 rpm.  This sort of output adheres itself well to the open road where the refinement and grunt can be fully appreciated.

The vehicles dimensions are 5115 mm long, 1985 mm wide and 1755 mm tall.  Inside these dimensions, a very competitive luggage space of 960 Litres with all seats in place is impressive.  With second and third row seats folded flat, a massive 4022 Litres becomes available for carrying luggage.  You’ll be the football clubs best friend with all this extra carrying ability!  As you can see, the Kia Carnival 3.3L Petrol is a large vehicle, so it’s combined fuel consumption figure of 11.6 litres is adequate for what the vehicle is designed for.  Highways are where the petrol engine shines, with under 10 litres/100 km expected.
