LDV is finally selling in Australia and offering an excellent range of vehicles. LDV is a division of vehicles made by the company: SAIC Maxus Automotive Co., Ltd. This company trades as SAIC (Shanghai Automobile and Industrial Corporation) and builds other brands such as MG and Roewe, as well as manufacturing complete vehicles for brands such as VW, Skoda, Iveco and Cadillac. It is one of the world’s largest automotive companies with more than 200,000 employees. It’s the biggest automotive company in China.
A relatively new brand in Australia, LDV vehicles include both commercial and passenger vehicles. Since 2014, Maxus has become a go-to company for 100% electric and hydrogen technologies, and this is on top of its highly regarded vehicles with the more conventional combustion engine.
Currently, as of January 2020, LDV offers: a nice roomy SUV known as the D90, three utes belonging to the T60 Series, a couple of commercial vans, and a people mover van.
