So, leather seat options are widely available, however the standard 7-seater diesel and petrol models settle for a smart cloth trim.  All models come with front air-conditioning with a temperature display, rear air-conditioning with a separate control, cruise control, power windows in the front, a driver’s window with a one-touch up/down function and jam protection, and a multi-function steering wheel with tilt adjustment.

Whether you need a little bit of extra room or a lot, the 2021 LDV G10 People Mover has got you covered.  You get to choose between 7 or 9 seater G10s.  There is more than enough power for getting the job done, as well.  A powerful 2.0-litre, 160 kW twin-cam, turbo-charged, petrol engine is smooth and refined.  There is also a gutsy, yet economical, 1.9-litre turbo-diesel with 106 kW of power and 350 Nm of torque.  Both the diesel and the petrol variants use the same ZF six-speed automatic to get you moving.

As far as economy figures go, on average, the diesel should return around 9 litres/100 km – sometimes less, sometimes a bit more.  The petrol engine should return an average economy of around 12 litres/100 km.  But it is the case that, when you’re shifting people and luggage, that there will be a big difference between a fully-loaded van and a half-empty one and, of course, its resulting economy.  Fuel efficiency will also vary when a person with a heavy right foot sits in the driver’s seat.  Weather conditions also effect the fuel economy, particularly in a van.  That said, the LDV G10 People Mover delivers a sound balance of power, refinement, and efficiency.

Safety:  A new LDV G10 People Mover has decent levels of safety features, though some important safety items, such as head- and chest-protecting side airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners, aren’t present, and most consumers today expect these sorts of safety items to be provided as standard – particularly in a vehicle which can carry up to 9 passengers.  As a result, the 2021 LDV G10 People Mover has a 3-star ANCAP safety rating for all G10 petrol and diesel vans, people mover variants included (mid-2015 to the present).

However, the latest LDV G10 People Mover has solid stopping power, with front ventilated discs, rear disc brakes, anti-skid brakes (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC) and emergency Brake assist (EBA) as standard.  All models boast Roll Movement Intervention (RMI), front driver and passenger airbags, rear camera with park assist parking sensors at the rear, keyless entry with passive entry, passive start and central locking, adaptive Xenon headlights, rain sensing wipers, fog lamps front and rear, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.  The Executive petrol models also feature a 360-degree camera and front parking sensors.

In challenging weather conditions, the LDV G10 People Mover has some nice features to make driving easier.  With adaptive Xenon headlights, rain sensing wipers, and front and rear fog lamps, visibility for G10 driver, and visibility for oncoming traffic being able to see you, will be very good.  The built in child anchor points do offer strength and security for the littler ones on-board.
