The latest Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan is exquisitely designed. Everything from two tone colour door interior lining, premium dash materials and sculptured leather seats create an environment that is simply second-to-none.
I think it’s in the new Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan’s build quality that one enjoys the complete C-Class experience. Yes the materials are first class, the colours vivid and the detailing superb, and the way things have been all put together in one harmonious package is quite brilliant. A very clean dash design displays its functions and switchgear with chrome surrounds and clear style. Stylish yes; complicated no. There are a number of control buttons in the central dash area, however they are very easy to live with.
Speaking of features, the new Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan has heaps of neat items that make the drive a pleasure and not so much a chore. Audio 20 is the new audio package for the C-Class Sedan and the system comes equipped with an integrated 6 CD changer. You can operate Audio 20 using the multifunction steering wheel or the controller in the centre armrest. This system also features speed-dependent volume control. Audio 20 links with the Bluetooth® interface and has hands-free functionality and audio streaming. The screen boasts TFT technology and a 14.7 cm width for excellent visual clarity. USB interface, a CD cover display and Aux-in socket in the centre console completes the Audio 20 feature.
iPod and iPhone connectivity provide the best communications, so with the stylish Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan you can keep in touch with work colleagues and friends with the easy to use communications software. Navigational equipment in a car is essential for buffs like me who love to know where they are, where they’re heading and the best way to get from A-to-B. Not all Satellite Navigational technology is as easy to use, but with the new C-Class it’s a breeze. Harman Kardon 7 audio sound technology pumps out great sound through twelve speakers, and is the first stop for the best sounds around. That’s why your musical experience in the new Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan will be ecstatic.
As far as other goodies go, the Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan comes with electric seats, heated seats, electric windows, reverse cameras, ASR, a leather interior, a sliding glass sunroof, Thermatic automatic climate control, Dynamic Handling Control and an Agility Control suspension. This list is most definitely not exhausted.
Safety in the new Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan is premium, and that is why you’ll find that the car comes equipped with features like DISTRONIC PLUS proximity control which helps the driver to maintain a specified (timed) distance from the vehicle ahead when travelling at speeds of 0 to 200 km/h. Parking guidance, an intelligent light system and a full array of active and passive safety features make the Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan a leader in medium-size car safety and protection.
The ride and handling of the latest C-Class is excellent, and few cars can match the blend of carpet ride and sporty handling. There are plenty of ideal engines for the Merc’s modern driver, so keeping individual demands and tastes satisfied should be easy enough. To start with, there are three diesel engines – all of which offer a 5-to-6 litres/100 km average fuel consumption. Four petrol engines are offered, and if performance in your books happens to be getting you from A-to-B swiftly and efficiently, then the C200 BlueEfficiency will more than satisfy your needs. A 0-100 km/h sprint time is a very sprightly 8.2 seconds. All models offer the new consumption and efficiency-optimised 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission. Lower fuel consumption and virtually imperceptible gearshifts are what you can expect.
I love long lasting friendships, and the talented Mercedes Benz C-Class Sedan has all the credentials for making this relationship a happy one. She looks great, too!
