The only thing wrong with this Nissan NP300 Navara Diesel is that it’s clean rather than covered with honest mud.

The new Nissan NP300 Navara Diesel has all the dirty mud-plugging ability of its predecessors, and I reckon the eight available exterior colours look their best with a dusty film covering the glossy paintwork.  Needless to say, the NP300 scrubs up really well for a night out on the town, just the ideal place for the new NP300 Navara Diesel to draw a lot of appreciative attention.

Engines for the new NP300 Navara Diesel come in two variations.  There is a single turbo diesel that pumps out 120 kW and 403 Nm of torque, while the other one is a twin-turbo unit that pushes out 140 kW and 450 Nm of torque.  The ST and ST-X variants are powered by the advanced 140 kW twin-turbo diesel engine which has one small turbo to get you moving and a larger turbo to keep you going strong.  The Navara Diesels provide the best fuel economy results in its class.  Both diesel engines develop enough muscle to pull a massive 3500 kg braked towing capacity.  That sort of capability is awesome for the building site!  All diesel Navaras come standard with a six-speed manual gearbox, though you can opt for the easy and smooth seven-speed automatic if you like.

Single Cab, King Cab and Dual Cab varieties are on the menu, and for me, the Dual Cab just offers that extra level of passenger carrying ability that I like.  For sheer work practicality, however, the Single Cab and King Cab models will be the one best suited for pure hard work.  Whatever new NP300 Navara Diesel you choose, you’re sure to find one that suits both your work and play requirements.

You can kit the new Navara Diesel out with as much or as little equipment as you like.  But, the Nissan Connect system really is worth its value for smartphone connectivity and other features.  You can play your own hand-picked music via your smartphone. Music via the smartphone or audio system can be controlled via the 7-inch colour touch-screen on your dash.  The new Nissan NP300 Navara also comes equipped with the excellent Nissan Navigation System to keep you heading in the right direction, Bluetoothhandsfree calling, an iPod/USB input and a whole lot more.  Leather throughout the ST-X Navara, and all the extra bells and whistles, make this the model to choose for a complete driving treat.
