The Ram Truck is a full-size pickup truck. These big, tough pickups used to be known as a Dodge Ram up until 2010 but now they are known as a RAM Truck (part of the RAM Trucks brand). The latest versions are big, bold and practical pickup trucks which make a Hilux or Ford Ranger look miniature. Boasting excellent comfort, huge towing capability and AWD, RAM Trucks are the premium brand for people on the lookout for the very best in big pickups. In V8 Hemi guise they can shame some sports cars off the line and out in the passing lane.
Previously, Ram was part of the Dodge line of light trucks. The name Ram was first used in the 1981 model year Dodge Truck. The RAM logo is one of the coolest looking logos to grace the face of a vehicle, and Dodge had used a ram’s-head hood ornament on some trucks as early as 1933.
Ram trucks have been named Motor Trend magazine’s Truck of the Year eight times; and of late the RAM 1500 has become the first truck in history to three-peat the award, winning in 2019, 2020, and 2021. That should be enough to get you interested!
