The 2018 Jaguar XE range kicks off with the Prestige.  This model offers features that include: 18-inch six-spoke alloys, grained leather seats (10-way electronically adjustable), dark satin brushed aluminium trim, a soft grain leather sport steering wheel, Bi-function Xenon headlights and metal tread plates with a Jaguar script.

Next comes the Jaguar XE Portfolio which adds to the Prestige with features that include: 18-inch seven split-spoke alloys, perforated windsor leather seats and embossed aluminium trimmings.

Opt for the Jaguar XE R-SPORT, and the flavours get racier.  An assertive sporting tone comes with a sports body kit for the exterior and sport seats with eight-way adjustable sport seats for the interior.  Special features include: 18-inch five spoke alloys, Luxtec and Technical Mesh sport seats that are 10-way electronically adjustable, an R-Sport branded soft grain leather steering wheel, a spunky black radiator grille with a satin chrome surround, etched aluminium trimmings and an R-Sport bodykit.

Maximising the sport flavour in the luxury/sports XE is the Jaguar XE S model.  Not only do you get a 3.0-litre V6 280 kW supercharged engine, but you also get: 19-inch five split-spoke alloys, grained leather and suede-cloth sport seats with contrast stitching, an S branded soft grain leather steering wheel, and meshed aluminium trimmings.

With a length of 4672 mm and a width of 1850 mm, the Jaguar XE sedan can comfortably seat three adult passengers in the rear.  The boot capacity is 415 litres, and if you gently present your foot under one of the car’s rear corners, the boot lid opens or closes.  There’s space for sunglasses in the overhead console, a smartphone sized stowage tray in the centre console, a spacious armrest cubby box and additional stowage in each door.  Two 12V sockets as standard – ideal when you need to keep several gadgets charged.
