Under the hood is a new 103 kW, 1.6-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that is a proven workhorse with reliability to match.  You can manually control the power delivery through the 6-speed manual gearbox option, or should you like things relaxed the 6-speed automatic transmission is available.  Responsive and fuel efficient, the Gamma GDI engine accelerates strongly, cruises well and can easily return under 7 litres/100 km for fuel usage.  Out on the road the new Accent Sedan handles crisply and safely with a ride that is comfortable and relatively refined.  This car will easily get you where you need to go time-and-time again.
