2021 Chrysler 300 Luxury Sedan

It’s high time we looked at what the Chrysler 300 offers us in 2021.  There is so much to like about the larger-than-life, big, bold sedan; they are comfortable, powerful and refined.  If you’re feeling the need for a suave, large American sedan in your life, then this one has to be one car that’s worth a look.  The 300 is still one of my favourites of any large sedan for sale today.  You don’t need to pay big prices for a refined, roomy sedan, and, unlike big BMWs, Mercs or even Lexus sedans, the 2021 Chrysler 300 Luxury offers good value for money, gorgeous looks that demand respect and gobs of refined torque for wafting interstate and between cities.

Under the bonnet of the 2021 Chrysler 300 Luxury lies that very smooth and powerful award-winning 3.6-liter petrol-driven Pentastar V6 delivering 218 kW and 353 Nm of torque.  This luxury motor delivers its muscle via the TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission.  The smooth gear shifts and quick response are delightful.  It’s not the most economical drives by today’s standards but it ticks over effortlessly and quietly out on the open road.  The 2021 Chrysler 300 Series is also offered with class-exclusive AWD.  The AWD system features a front-axle disconnect feature that engages at any speed, as necessary.  This enables the big car to have excellent traction for when the weather or road conditions become less than ideal.

The new 300 Luxury is tuned for refinement, ease and well-bred road manners.  It’s perfectly set up for cruising the open roads effortlessly and soaking up the road undulations around town and out on the motorway.  The Chrysler 300 will impress, as it really is a wonderful cruiser.  There are big cars you can buy that will corner better than the 300 at insane speeds, but in the real world more kilometres are done in search of comfort.  The Chrysler 300 Luxury is tuned for comfort and is fitted with comfort-tuned dampers.  Big sedans like the 2021 Chrysler 300 waft over the ground like passing clouds in the sky, and they ride almost as softly.

Big space on the inside means that the 300 sedan seats five tall adults with ease.  Storage about the cabin is superb.  The interior style of the 2021 Chrysler 300 is stunning, with the ventilated leather-trimmed seats being absolutely brilliant.  Driver and front-passenger footwells offer LED lamps for lighting up entry and exit at night.  Other cabin fine points are front and rear LED-illuminated map pockets, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a powered backlight sunshade, a powered tilt/telescoping steering column, memory functions for the driver’s seat and steering wheel, a rear seat storage armrest with LED-illuminated cup holders and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.  With 462 litres of boot space the 300 sedan also has decent luggage carrying capabilities.  Of course, the 60/40-split-folding rear seats fold down to expand the luggage area further, as you need it too, and thus can accommodate longer items, too.

You can have the big sedan with a nice dual-pane panoramic sunroof, which really does make an upmarket statement as well as a lovely dose of natural light for that spacious cabin.  The 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen is a very nice unit with clear graphics and easy operation.  Satellite navigation makes life pretty sweet in busy cities, and then the 9-speaker premium audio system rocks out concert-like sound for its occupants.  The trunk-mounted subwoofer and 506-Watt amplifier with its surround sound tuning adds to the car’s lovely acoustics.

The big 300 Luxury also boasts auto-adjust-in-reverse driver’s mirrors and adaptive bi-xenon high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps with an automatic levelling function.  Added as standard equipment for 2021, the 300 has a ParkSense front and rear park assist system, Blind-spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Path detection.

There are nine exterior colours to choose from for the 2021 Chrysler 300 Luxury, which include: Amethyst, Bright White, Canyon Sunset, Frostbite, Gloss Black, Granite Crystal, Ocean Blue, Silver Mist, and Velvet Red.

Being cosseted in those lovely, luxurious seats boasting soft nappa leather makes for a special time travelling in a 300.  The Chrysler 300 is still handsome, powerful and comfortable, and now there are the additions of the up-to-date technology upgrades.  There are still not many cars that can match those gorgeous, yet intimidating, Chrysler 300 looks, the smooth, effortless performance, and that excellent ride quality.
