Honda’s long-running Odyssey people-mover was upgraded in early 2021 when the range was reduced from an 8-seat configuration to two 7-seat versions: the entry-level Vi L7 and the top-spec Vi LX.  Both of these models get autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, road departure mitigation and LED headlights.  If you do end up in a car crash, the Honda Odyssey is superbly built for crashworthiness, however with Honda’s superior front crash prevention scores, you might well avoid any crash before it happens.  Honda has also made sure that the child seat anchors are easy to use, so you can easily strap your little ones in correctly.  IIHS Safety Ratings and NHTSA Safety Ratings are incredibly strong, and our own ANCAP crash testing team have given it a very strong 5 stars (the best you can get).
