Genesis means the very beginning, the origin or the mode of formation of something.  Only recently (2017), Genesis Motor, LLC, commonly referred to as Genesis, came onto the scene in the automotive world.  As the flagship of South Korean vehicle manufacturer Hyundai Motor Group, Genesis vehicles are the premium models.  Genesis vehicles are very special and currently compete in the high-end market of luxury cars and SUVs.

The very beginnings of Genesis hark back to 2004 where the vision and plans for Hyundai’s new luxury Genesis sedan were birthed.  It wasn’t till 4^th November 2015 that the Genesis brand was officially announced as an independent marque on its own – obviously under the wing of Hyundai Motor Group.

Reliability testing ran for 800,000 miles (1,280,000 km), and then in 2017 the very first Genesis G90 luxury sedan rolled off the production floor, and it caused quite the stir in and around the automotive world.  Its stunning shape and graceful lines were the perfect start to the Genesis dream, and to this day the luxury vehicles produced from Genesis are breath-taking.

Presently, Genesis luxury models are designed in Rüsselsheim, Germany, Namyang, South Korea, and California in the U.S.A.  They are produced and manufactured in Ulsan, South Korea.  Genesis vehicles are a growing brand being marketed, sold, and driven in many places around the world.
