Many businesses require lengthy periods of travelling on the road.  A long wheelbase of 3682 mm, a large 105-litre fuel tank and an engine that boasts 110 kW of power and 350 Nm of torque, the Master Cab Chassis excels at relaxed, hassle free travelling.  The hefty torque from the turbocharged and intercooled direct injection diesel kicks in from engine revs that are as low as 1500 rpm and will continue to work at this peak twist through to 2750 rpm.  It’s easy to see how relaxed the truck will perform its duties when you have so much torque where and when you need it.  Accessing the engine torque comes via a choice of a six-speed manual or six-speed automated manual gearbox.  Cruise control is standard, along with a very useful diff-locking feature for when the work site gets a little greasy.

To pass the time on the road, Renault have equipped the Master Cab Chassis with top comfort features, and, perhaps, the most important of these is the height, reach, rake and lumbar adjustable driver’s seat with built-in armrest.  An option of upgrading the already very comfortable standard seat to the Isringhausen driver’s suspension seat is also an option – though the suspension nature of the seat makes is unsuited to running with the side airbag.  A height adjustable steering column makes for getting a nice position behind the steering wheel – a must for any long-hour journey.  A dual passenger bench seat folds down to reveal a centre seat table – perfect for enjoying lunch with a drink while you wait in line.  You can store a drink bottle in the door bottle compartment, and there’s even a chilled glove box to keep edibles or medication nice and cool.  Electric windows and mirrors, manual air-conditioning (Climate control an optional upgrade), Bluetooth hands-free connectivity with audio streaming, and a 2x15W CD/MP3 radio with a roof mounted display are standard items.  The audio system can be controlled via the steering wheel mounted controls.

Safety is taken very seriously at Renault, and this continues through to the commercial vehicles as well.  The Renault Master Cab Chassis has safety items that include ABS, ESC, Traction Control and front driver and passenger airbags.  Cruise control helps you to remain legal, and pre-tensioned seatbelts are at the ready.  You can opt for a Safety and Security Pack which provides some extra things like automatic headlights, rain sensing windscreen wipers, dual side airbags (not available with driver suspension seat), fog lights a rear demister, alarm and headlights with directional cornering ability.
