The Nissan 350Z is nothing but phenomenal with a 3.5 litre dual overhead cam 24-valve 230 kW V6 petrol engine. And this engine is no slouch, not by a long shot, and essentially it has been the Z power plant for a nunber years – with, of course, lots of improved modifications and refinements. The chassis and suspension are designed to help keep the 350Z well balanced, which means precise handling when you’re on the road. With the addition of a Traction Control System power is applied instantly, and you hug the road in a way you never dreamed you could. When the 350Z senses slippage from one of the rear wheels, it automatically reduces engine power and distributes power to the rear wheel with the better grip.

The interior of the Nissan 350Z is centred mainly around the driver, though I doubt there will be any complaints from the passengers lucky enough to be seated inside. The seats are powered, heated and form fitted to provide the best support for those long drives or those tight corners. All instrumentation is within easy reach, and the steering wheel has key components that are illuminated and within a finger’s reach. There is a navigation system with GPS, DVD atlas and a 7″ colour LCD monitor. A Bluetooth® hands free phone system is available. The HomeLink® universal transceiver to operate remote control objects, like your garage door, from the convenience of your vehicle without the need of a bulky remote is a nice touch. The Nissan 350Z has tilt steering and one impressive sound system capable of handling MP3 – as well as other devices.

Safety is also a concern at Nissan, and they show it in the 350Z with the use of driver and passenger front, side and curtain airbags. ABS brakes, an energy absorbing steering column and even a tyre pressure monitoring system all make the Nissan 350Z a very safe and sound proposition.
