Saab 93 X

Safety, style, speed and off-roading ability: the Saab 93 X has it all.

Model Update

It’s available! Driving the new Saab 9-3X is something pretty special. Not only is this a quick, AWD wagon, the body is self levelling and the ride outstanding. Weighing in at 1755 kg, boasting a top speed of 220 km/h and 300 Nm of torque available in the mid range (2500 rpm), this is a well-planted driver’s car.

Offering practicality in its package, the spacious luggage compartment swallows 477 dm3 of luggage space. Luxurious cabin materials complement the sports leather seats and the high array of modern technologies. You’ll find the Dark Titan fibre décor trim is sophisticated and smart in its appearance. Bluetooth communications, auto climate control, a Saab infotainment system, audio steering wheel controls, and sentronic buttons on the steering wheel manually shift the slick six-speed automatic transmission.

Saab active head restraints, a high tensile steel safety cage, ABS, CBC, EBD and EBA provide back up for the many airbags – which include roof rail airbags. An engine immobiliser, three-point safety belts and pre-tensioners for the front seats are standard features.

Distinctive lines and awesome five-spoke Aktiv 17-inch rims provide you with a hot set of wheels.

The winds are changing! There is a new thing happening in Europe, and it’s heading our way very soon. Be in on the exciting new Saab 9-3 X.

X-rated (no, not that sort of X-rated, even though it’s a very sexy car!), the new Saab comes with stealth and sure-footed athleticism. An advanced four-wheel drive system and 2.0-litre turbocharged power units make the 9-3 X a new force in the aging cross-over vehicle marketplace. The Saab is eco-powered and engineered by some of the best automotive engineers. Engine design ensures that the punchy performance is responsible and eco-friendly.

The Saab 93 X comes as a five-door sport wagon type. With an extra 35mm of ground clearance over the standard 93 versions, your scope for travelling off the road becomes widened considerably. An eLSD electronically controlled rear differential is a first for this class, able to divvy up torque between the rear wheels to the benefit of balance and grip. A revised spring and damper setting, and new geometry, make the chassis a delightful masterpiece. A body-levelling system keeps the car at the optimum height for safe, surefooted handling – even when the 9-3 X is heavily laden.

A copious boot, and aerodynamic roof racks ensure that the Saab 93 X has all the space you need for your adventurous weekend away. Climb aboard the crossover estate, and the sumptuous seats, luxurious features and relaxing cabin ambience make for a very pleasant journey. The dark Titan trim creates a very sophisticated and smart interior feel. As always, the dash ergonomics are the best around, giving the driver a feeling of sitting inside an aircraft cockpit. Saab seating comfort is legendary.

The handsome lines of the Saab 9-3X wagon are sporty in their design. The striking grille and sleek headlights are some of the most striking on the road at present. This typical Swedish “flair for design” gives you a nice set of wheels that sets you apart from everybody else’s common drive.

The 9-3 has five star genes running in its blood. Back to back five star ratings in ENCAP crash testing over recent years give the 9-3 X some very sound safety credentials.

So, you like adventure? So do I! Go skiing, head out tramping and try kayaking – all in a day’s work for the outstandingly good Saab 93X wagon.
