One of Suzuki’s best sellers, the Suzuki Vitara is an all around family vehicle that you can take the kids to school in, go out grocery shopping in or take that off-road holiday you always wanted. Any Suzuki Vitara model will get you there. With a choice of a two-door convertible (that has a rear soft top that folds down, exposing the rear seat and back luggage compartment) or a four-door wagon, the Vitara is made to meet your demands.

Under the bonnet, you have a choice of three engines: a 1.6 litre, dual overhead cam 4-cylinder that puts out 72 kW, a 2.0 litre dual overhead came 4-cylinder engine that puts out 95 kW, or the 2.5 litre V-6 that kicks out (depending on which year model) 115-123 kW. An excellent dual range five-speed manual gearbox or four-speed automatic gearbox is linked to the four-wheel drive (JX) models. You can opt for the two-wheel drive (JS) models. Suzuki has a proven track record of building very good 4X4s that go anywhere and are super dependable. The 4X4 offers loads of grip in slippery conditions and offers great engine response. This can be a real hoot to drive off-road!

The interior of a Vitara will seat two adults comfortably in the front. Space in the rear is a little tighter and perhaps is best suited to younger teenagers. A Vitara has a tilt steering wheel, intermittent windscreen wipers, automatic on/off headlights, power exterior mirrors, an AM/FM/CD audio system, power steering, air conditioning, and power windows and locks.

The Suzuki Vitara comes with driver and passenger front airbags, daytime running lights, power brakes and a keyless entry system.
