Renault Latitude

Fresh and elegant, the Renault Latitude packs heaps of luxury into a class-leading, spacious cabin. Available in two variants with two types of engines, you'll be pleasanlty satisfied with the way the Renault Latitude goes about its luxo ride.

A class leader in space and comfort, the Renault Latitude is new to the mix and ready to take you and the family in masses of comfort and style.

Conservative lines take on an elegant cue with Renault’s new Latitude. It’s a big car that hides its dimensions well, so that on the inside you’ll be amazed at just how big and spacious the cabin feels. Sweeping wrap around headlights provide a bold statement, while the Latitude lines are low in profile for a slippery cut through the air. Is there a hint of Saab 9-5 in the front end treatment?

Inside, the generous dimensions will ensure that you can recline and relax for hours. Seats in the Renault Latitude are wonderfully crafted and capable of cosseting occupants for long hauls. The finest materials give a lavishness fit for a king. Feature items in the Renault Latitude depend on the choice of two Latitude variants. The Renault Latitude Luxe sits on 18-inch alloys and is the model that stops at nothing to provide you with everything you need to make your journey as comfortable as possible. Renault Smart Card Key, Integrated satellite navigation, Bluetooth with audio streaming, black leather-trimmed upholstery, a leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, height and reach adjustable steering wheel, three-zone climate control with toxicity sensor and combined active carbon filter, and a Samsung super plasma ioniser with fragrance diffuser are some of the features on the Luxe. Don’t get me wrong, the standard Renault Latitude is very well equipped, anyway. Your choice is whether you think a few extra features is worth the extra dollars required. By the way, the Bose sound system is awesome!

Renault Latitude power comes from a petrol or diesel engine. Opt for the 2.0dCi, and a 127 kW output matched with 380 Nm of torque at 2000 rpm allows this car to cruise effortlessly all day long. Alternatively, the 2.5-litre V6 engine feeds on unleaded 91 petrol, and drives responsively and quietly on the open road, and about town.

A big paw print and compliant ride means that the Renault Latitude has prowess for on-road comfort and dynamics. You can push the big sedan quickly over varying road surfaces and tight corners and feel very confident that it’s going to hold on.

Safety is Reanult’s game, and so I’m not surprised to see the Latitude models feature ESP with ASR (anti-slip regulation), ABS with EBA (emergency brake assist), dual front, side, front/rear curtain airbags, three-point rear seatbelts, three child seat anchorage points for the rear seats, cruise control with a speed limiter, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, fog lights, front and rear parking sensors, and parking cameras.

Another thing to bring to your attention is the top warranty available to all new Renault vehicles. Now you can’t argue with a five-year/unlimited km warranty – with 24 Hour roadside assistance. That’s very comprehensive!

The current Renault Latitude models include:

  • Latitude 2.0 dCi
  • Latitude 2.5 V6
  • Latitude Luxe 2.0 dCi
  • Latitude Luxe 2.5 V6
