It’s is the Renault Vans that make the top choice by buyers in Europe – and that has been the same for some ten years now. Renault must have a few things well sorted to fend off the likes of the Mercedes Viano and Vito, the Volkswagen alternatives and, of course, the big Ford Transit, Peugeot and Toyota alternatives. The latest Renault Master is the biggest van in the Renault light-commercial range, with four configurations offering up to 12.6m³ in cargo capacity.
Each model is equipped with ABS, EBD, EBA, a dual SRS airbag, height adjustable seatbelts with built-in pretensioners and load-limiters, plus a security alarm. The Renault Master comes with cruise control, front air-conditioning and heating with a 4-speed fan and air recirculation system, a three-way adjustable driver’s seat with armrest, two front passenger, tinted front windows and a CD player. The storage and loading are enhanced with floor anchoring rings, door storage pockets, an expandable central document space and side coat hooks.
The Renault Master Cab Chassis comes with a 2.5-litre, turbo-diesel and six-speed robotised quick-shift transmission that combines to make an economy figure of 7.9 litres/100 km.
Many will probably want to own the Renault Master Short Wheelbase Low Roof alternative, which comes with the same 2.5-litre turbo-diesel linked to six-speeds that are robotised into a quick-shift transmission. This power train equates to an average fuel economy figure of 7.9-litres/100 km, and the model comes with a volume capacity of 8m³ and a payload of up to 1477kg.
The excellent Renault Master Medium Wheelbase Mid Roof model comes with the same engine and transmission as the two models above, similar fuel economy, but a luggage carrying, volume capacity of 10.8m³ and a payload of up to 1598kg.
It’s the most expensive model, but it’s the biggest by far, the Renault Master Long Wheelbase Mid Roof offers a luggage carrying capacity of 12.6m³ and a payload of up to 1598kg. Again, the same engine and transmission do the job nicely.
Need a great working van – and one that not only is adaptive but comfortable? Sounds like you might like looking at the Renault Master.
The Renault Master comes in a multitude of configurations, depending on your business. With a reliable and economical choice of either a 2.5 dCi 100 or the 2.5 dCi 120 diesel engine, and either a standard manual gearbox or a Quick-shift 6-speed automatic gearbox, you have the power and convenience to meet your needs.
The Renault Master’s maximum load carrying volume is between 8.0-13.9 metres, and it has a payload capacity between 985 and 1675 kg. A multitude of door configurations allow you to choose just the right setup. There are even rear doors that open 180 degrees. These have magnets to hold the doors completely out of the way. Long and short wheelbase models are available as well. You can even choose a windowless model or a flatbed self-dumping version. The rear interior can be customized, with lots of attachment points for dividers and bulkheads. A 16-seat passenger version tops the people moving requirements. So, as you can see, the Renault Master is practical!
Renault have designed the Renault Master as your mobile office, with a range of high-performance technological advancements that include an on-board trip computer, outside temp sensor, parking proximity sensor, cruise control with speed limiter, electrically adjustable seats, air conditioning, power windows, an anti-theft system, premium sound system and a built in navigational system. Sound proofing the cabin from road noise and wind have made the Master a quiet van for travel in.
With all these features and configurations, the Renault Master could be the only vehicle you need for your business. Drive the Renault Master and appreciate the difference.
