With a new clean sheet design, the second generation Mercedes-Benz ML350 had been totally revamped. The ML350 may look similar to its predecessor but that’s where it ends.

The new Mercedes-Benz ML350 is slightly larger, creating greater interior space as well as cargo capacity. The new ML350 is made with a more car-like unibody construction which improves the overall ride and handling. With a 3.5 litre V6 engine that pushes out 200 kW of muscle and 350 Nm of torque, there is plenty of power to burn. The supremely smooth engine is meshed to a 7-speed automatic transmission and the power is fed to all four wheels through a single range transfer case. What does this mean for you? Better performance and fuel economy, for a start.

Inside the elegant new interior, there are plenty of features to note. The exceptional roomy interior is mainly due to the increase in cabin space – with the new model being slightly larger in size. There is more room both for the front occupants, as well as the rear passengers. Interior styling is definitely Mercedes-Benz, with top-notch and very comfortable fully powered bucket front seats as well as a 60/40 split rear seat with flip up cushions for a flat load floor when needed. You can even upgrade to premium leather and enjoy heated front seats if you choose. The transmission shifter is located on the steering column just behind a steering wheel spoke. Other fine features include a top-grade Harmon Kardon Logic7 audio system with a glove box mounted 6-CD changer, DVD based navigation system, Sirius satellite radio, a TeleAid telematics with Homelink display and an optional sunroof package. There is even a jack contained in the glove box that allows the connection of an iPOD® or MP3 player. For those who like to drink coffee, there are plenty of cupholders found throughout the cabin.

Safety is not compromised. Antilock brakes with brake assist, 4ETS four-wheel drive system, Traction Control, ESP (Electronic Stability Programme), Dual-stage airbags front and rear with side-curtains and an impressive roll-over sensor are all standard equipment.
